I much prefer the first book of this series. Simon Vance is my lest enjoyed reader, it's endurance to the end.

Lots of characters (too many...) - but same great writing.

This is the best book of the trilogy (in my personal opinion)! It's a little slow in the beginning but the second half more than makes up for it. You won't regret reading it!

Seldom do I find a sequel as interesting as the first, but here you go, this is one. Well written. Makes you want to finish and pick up the third in the series.
