Though certainly not politically correct by today's standards, this rags to riches musical is beautifully produced and filmed. Audrey Heburn is a delight. And Rex Harrison's less than likeable character, "Mr. Higgins" is played very…

Outstanding musical story.

Seems to have more than what was shown on television when I was child. Special features has a couple examples of AH singing I doubt (given recent standards) they would have replaced her voice.

I am surprised that my teenager kids loved it.

I've seen this film a few times and it never quite clicks with me. I find the film's color scheme and sets rather drab actually, and the middle section could have used some trimming, as the movie feels at least half an hour too long. And…

Directed by George Cukor in 1964 adapted from 1956 Lerner and Loewe stage musical, this American musical dramedy depicts a poor Cockney flower seller, Eliza Doolittle, who overhears an arrogant phonetics professor, Henry Higgins, as he…

This is a timeless classic. A masterpiece! From the endearing story to the delightful characters and the top quality musical numbers, this movie is a true gem. I have a degree in theatre and have a strong appreciation for the art of this…

I gave this three stars only because of Audrey's acting. I take issues with this movie, and it's of a personal nature. Read any biography about Audrey Hepburn and you'll see why. I don't want to give anything away. The film is well done…

I looked forward to watching. Had never seen. Music was enjoyable. Would be better to get the cd and listen. Visually it plodded along....slow.....slow..... Did not finish.

When it comes to vintage, Hollywood musicals - I'd say that this gaudy, overblown production certainly pushed the limits of spectator endurance with its 2-hour-50-minute running time. Not only that - But (IMO) 1964's "My Fair Lady"…

✅ I would have thought everyone knew about "My Fair Lady." I'll confine my comments to the quality of the production, which on Blu-Ray is top-notch, sharp colors and excellent sound. As for a previous commenter and frequent source of…

I'm someone who can usually appreciate viewing a vintage, Hollywood musical every once in a while. But - With that said - I certainly found 1964's "My Fair Lady" to be intolerably dreadful from start to finish. It was bad enough that…

Beautiful sets and clothes. Liked some of the music.

I liked this musical drama. It has very little dialogue. The songs tell the story. The songs are witty and comprehensive. The character are deep. The story is strong and simple. The dancing was well done. The costumes and props were 1910…

Made in 1964, and time period/values show. Unclear why Eliza would go back to The Professor at the end.

This is hard to rate. There are some really great songs and some memorable visuals. However, and I'm not blaming Rex Harrison for his acting, but I just find that character really annoying and that comes through, for me, even in his…

GREAT 1964 film adaption of Broadway stage hit. Not sure how I missed it all these years, but now I've seen it and truly enjoyed the performances of Audrey Hepburn at age 35 and Rex Harrison at 52. Lots of great staged scenes,…

Beautiful songs (esp. Wouldn't it be lovely and On the Street Where You Live) but very unsatisfactory ending, and Higgens isn't portrayed as enough of a bad guy that he is. I wish it would have showed him have compassion for Eliza in the…

Pure joy to revisit this wonderful musical. Great acting and great soundtrack. Entertainment at best!

Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison were made for the parts of Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins in this wry look at the British class system. Their onscreen chemistry is further enhanced by great sets, amazing costumes and one of the most…

Familiar songs and some great set pieces ("Ascot Opening Day" is marvelous), but I wish they'd do "Pygmalion" instead. Eliza and Henry should *not* end up together.

The magic of "My Fair Lady" is captured in the reviews here at the KCLS web sight. Audrey Hepburn is irresistible and Rex Harrison puts on his best film performance. This may be the best musical on film. You be the judge though. I…

This movie is one of the most successful movies of all times. I cannot believe that I have watched this movie for 10 times and it is still as interesting and funny as the first time. I love all three main actors

My Fair Lady is still in high demand more than 50 years after it was released. It has the magic of three performers, Audrey Hepburn, Rex Harrison and Stanley Holloway. As of today, June 28, 2014, KCLS has 6 copies of the musical and 28…

Audrey Hepburn thoroughly delivers with excellent acting as the outspoken, loud, and un-proper Eliza Dolittle. very well done, one of my favorite musicals.
