Now in their 25th year, Manhattan Transfer put their unique spin on the classic sounds of swing, from urban hot jazz to rural barnstorming stompers. Asleep at the Wheel, Stephane Grappelli, Mark O'Connor and the Belgian gypsy guitar group the Rosenberg Trio accompany the quartet on songs made famous by such giants as Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Django Rheinhardt, Artie Shaw, Ella Fitzgerald and Fletcher Henderson.

VERY GOOD 1997 13 cut release by Manhattan Transfer.
It's a collection of 1930's and 1940's swing music with The Manhattan Transfer's jazz twist. Lots of familiar tunes done with their flavor - and a couple that were new to me.
