I enjoyed the novel, audiobook and film versions of Angela's Ashes. This audiobook also has its moments too but I have to say it rambles a lot and is repetitive in several places. It often seems more like a jumble of bits he wished he'd included in his other two books linked together around teaching and self-doubt. I'd recommend his other 2 books and this 3rd one is not bad if you're looking for more McCourt.

Frank McCourt is a genius at writing and describes his personal life well in his own voice. One of the best Audio CD's I've ever listened to.

McCort's description of his years teaching in New York City's public schools. Spoken/read by the author hmself in his wonderful accent. Loved listening to him tell his story.
