Don't you like a comedy that has some reality in it? Bill Murray in a perfect role for himself plays a patient unable to be away from his psychiatrist. So when the doctor goes on vacation, Murray shows up. Amazingly though he is unwanted, the family feels sorry for him and he joins their vacation. Along the way comes some valuable therapy for Bill Murray. His baby steps routine will long be remembered. A Bill Murray Five Star Classic!

This is a funny movie. If you don't like to laugh don't bother. We really enjoyed the movie and it's ability to keep you laughing as it goes. Most families would enjoy this one together without any problems and the young actors in the movie are good too.

sad to say,for me, this one just didn't age well. I remember loving Bill Murray and Richard D in this - - should've left well enough alone. Viewed as an adult, the laughs and touching insightful moments were way too far & few between.
