Set in contemporary Vietnam, Mai, a young girl is inspired by observing the Buddhist tradition of setting caged birds free. This experience leads Mai to perform other kind acts, which then creates a circle of good deeds in her village. This tale is a beautiful example of how one child's generosity of spirit spreads to the whole community.
