A terrific set of his dialogues! These early dialogues are far preferable to the later ones like the wonky "Sophist" or didactic "Laws" with respect to their charm, playfulness, and literary merit, though they lack good logic and conceptual analysis. This edition has lots of introductory material and thorough bibliographies for each dialogue. Its major shortcoming is the editorial comment interrupting each dialogue, which for the Euthydemus is especially frustrating (I recommend that one skip past these on a first reading).
