Four and a half stars for the Robin Hood episode with Errol Flynn (I'm sure it was him). Overall I think my favourite set of Dr Who, and my favourite doctor since Nine.

Doctor who is the best series in BBC since the Matt smith the eleventh doctor regenarated he's a little grumpy now but I really liked how he saved invasions from aliens. Can't wait for season 9!

Peter Capaldi is a wonderful doctor. My husband wasn't too fond of the other doctors, though he did watch some of David Tennant. These episodes are the "can't stop watching" types that truly have you wondering about what you know about time travel.

Number 12 is so very different than Smith or Tennant, and I hesitated to watch this for a long time. Now that I have, I am completely engaged. He is different, for sure… but delightfully so. I loved this season… haven't quite finished it yet, but so far it is wonderful. Funny, creepy, adventurous, and a little romantic. I love Mr. Pink… he is sweet and perfect for the Impossible Girl.

I think this was actually my favorite series of Doctor Who so far. A bit creepy at a couple points, but still really good. The only thing I didn't like about it is that a few of the episodes seem very evolution oriented. More than that of the older series. Such as the episode, "Listen".

I wasn't prepared to like the eighth series so much since David Tennant's Dr. Who was and (arguably) is the best. BUT, Peter Capaldi's dry, droll, less manic Monty Python wit is wonderful. The scripts remain at a high standard, and I was pleased to see the return of the Daleks with their sink plunger arms. "The Robot of Sherwood', with its sly reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail was my favorite. Enjoy!

Peter Capaldi is a fantastic choice for the Doctor, and we're lucky to have him! I won't give any spoilers, but my rating of Series 8 wasn't 5 out of 5 because of the writing, not the acting. Jenna Coleman is fantastic as well, it was the writing that I had issue with. Not all of the episodes, just the two part series finale. Though the show is returning to a grumpier, rebellious feel I felt that the finale was too dark and not appropriate for kids.
