Finally, a post-apocalyptic zombie show that is fun, fast-paced, and with characters I actually like! In a lot of ways, it's better that it's a network show with not a lot of money- it forces the stories to be creative, and not too disturbing or gory. This is a breezy, bloody, road trip through America that never takes itself too seriously- the episodes have things like glow-in-the-dark zombies at a nuclear power plant; a zombie tornado; zombies on speed that have been hanging around a pharmaceutical company; a wild west zombie shoot-off; and the liberty bell rolling down a hill of zombies. See? Fun!

Also, filmed in and around Spokane. Yay, Washington!

You'd be better to just watch The Walking Dead ... this is a poor substitute with terrible acting and low budget. I watched the first episode, fast forwarded through the rest of disc1 and didn't bother watching the rest.

Fast-paced, action-filled, bloody romp, with interesting characters and plot developments.
Much preferable to the depressing Walking Dead.

Worth watching and I'm looking forward to Season 2

Could be renamed "The Walking Dead light"! Good story that takes a little while to get started, but worth the wait if you're patient. Fun ensemble, including a reluctant survivor of a zombie attack, and a NSA official (D.J. Qualls) who's monitoring their progress cross-country from NY to CA. Some clever humor to relieve the zombie-fed tension certainly helps the proceedings. Explosive cliffhanger ending was unexpected, and keeps me hoping there's a season 2!

Terrible acting and budget. But it's still a fun watch. It was mostly comedic because of how unintentionally stupid it was made; guns and supplies are never picked up unless it has something to do with getting high. And unlike The Walking Dead, the most likable characters practically usually don't get killed of.

ZNation: This is fun, fast paced romp that doesn't take itself to seriously. Great special effects, props and costumes. Several of the cast members are local, or are originally from here and most of the crew are from WA State! It is all packaged with a twisted sense of humor that hits the mark...
