While I don’t believe in reincarnation, I did enjoy this movie. If you need a good cry, this may do it for you.

This is a movie for true dog lover's. Not a dry eye through this film. Josh Gad is superb as the voice of Bailey, Ethan's dog, who lives through various incarnations. His purpose? To teach us to love. How can you not love that? The sequel, "A Dog's Journey," is even better, with a slightly different subject, but with the same stars: Josh Gad and Dennis Quaid. See both! If you don't love dogs or understand their purpose in our lives, maybe you should look at adopting one--a rescue dog!

This was an ok movie, not as great as I've heard. The dog narrating was kind of silly and the only part I really liked was the part with the Corgi. Dennis Quaid was ok and I liked the music but that was about it.

Not a bad "family" movie told from a canine's perspective. But if you really want to see a terrific Lasse Hallstrom movie then take in My Life as a Dog. His best movie by far. A classic on the Criterion Collection.

It is a very good movie about dogs and their view toward their life. The main dog character Bailey goes through a few "lives" and finally unites with the original owner. The movie is quite cheerful to me, not a tearjerker as some people said. I love the ending the the movie.

This movie was a great representation of a dog’s point of view and how they see the world and the things around them. This movie was an emotional movie because it portrayed different stages and lives of a dog and how they get treated by their owner. They’re were a few parts which made my eyes tear up a little but overall it was an amazing movie to watch. I would rate this movie a 5/5 because of their outstanding work and also because of the fact that it had dogs in it. @BirdieBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This fantasy and drama film is quite literally about a dog’s role in everyday life. Over the course of five decades, the same dog is reincarnated time and time again and gets to experience its long lasting impact on various owners throughout it’s lifetimes. I personally don’t like animal themed movies because I feel like it often hinders the writers from actually writing an enjoyable script and story, however, I feel like this movie didn’t fall victim to that too much. I would rate this movie 3/5 stars and recommend it to dog lovers everywhere who don’t mind very simple storylines.

This was a very heart touching movie. This movie is about a dog who experiences different lives multiple times. It starts off with a puppy who finds a loving owner named Ethan. Ethan names the dog Bailey. Ethan and Bailey spend lots of time with each other and create loving, unforgettable, memories. One day, Ethan gets a scholarship and leaves. Bailey couldn't accept that. With that, he enters a new life. Basically, in every birth, he does something good for the owner. Although he loves most of his owners, he never forgets Ethan. By the end of the movie, it's been years. Bailey is wandering when he suddenly finds Ethan's home. Bailey has a new appearance but Ethan recognizes him due to a loving memory of theirs. They reunite! The ending is great. Something I don't like in this movie is that there isn't much of a unique story. It's pretty much one thing repeating over and over again. The movie could get pretty boring at times. It was a pretty sweet movie but it could have been much better. Apart from that, I would recommend watching this movie at least once -@Vanilla of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This was such a heart touching movie that i watched with my family. This had a great life lessons in this movie. One major one being that dogs really do have true feelings and should be given tons of love because they give you double the amount back. There were several parts which made me and my family tear up and overall it was such a heartwarming movie. I would totally recommend this movie to people of all ages, but teens and adults may enjoy it more. I would give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars. @terrificbooklover of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
