Living up to the hype, Kiss of Snow (best of series) is not just beautiful PNR but also a great full-bodied novel. Sienna's X ability was really fun coupled with those of Hawke. The scene at the end where their bond snaps into place is fantastic! Right now I really wish for a book that could spend some time with Hawke and Sienna as a happy couple. Not gonna happen in a PNR series...I'll be lucky if I get snippets here and there darnnit! Every book adds power (whether it's power, alliances, renegade Psy skills, etc.) to SnowDancer & DarkRiver to the point where we see them as an equally powerful force as the Psy. With the exception of Kaleb however! It seems...he can do whatever he wants and you can't stop him. Untouchable. I simply loved how things resolved at the end...the "effect" discussed during the last meeting was funny. I need me some of that!!! The catalyst enabling the mating bond was perfect and fit well within the plot. Not once was I ever bored...this is one of those books you just want to gobble up. At this point in the series there's so many characters we love (Hawke is at the top of my list) that I enjoyed every scene with Judd & Brenna, Indigo, Sasha & Lucas(beautiful birthing scene), etc. Interesting how every Psy H or h in this series has a skill that evolves in some way. Sienna's & Walker's are a nice addition to the series plot. The inclusion of the Walker/Lara side story fit very well within this book since the two became such an integral part of the action with the main plot.
